   In the menu, find manual scan, then input the following:
   Frequency: 4064
   Polarisation: H
   Symbol Rate: 19850
   FEC Rate: 7/8

   in Zimbabwe how can we get EWTN tv channels? I am a catholic very much enjoys programmes on EWTN, which helps us maintain our faith, i have a two dercoders Wiztech 228 and Philibao

   Hi

   After doing some research you can receive EWTN on your Philibao decoder. Just follow these instructions:
   Press MENU

   Arrow to INSTALLATION and press OK

   (If asked for Password type 0000)

   Go to MANUAL and press OK

   Press Green Button for ADD TP

   Press OK to ADD TP

   On Satellite make sure it says PAS 7/10 KU or Intelsat 7/10/KU or IS 7/10KU or Intelsat 20 or IS 20

   Go to FREQ and enter 4064 or 04064

   Go to POL/ POLARITY Press arrow to the right to get H or Horizontal

   Then go to SYMBOL RATE and type 19850 and press OK (this will save the new entries)

   Or Check at lower left corner if it shows red button for save, if so press red button to save.

   Press EXIT, EXIT

   Press Red Button for SCAN TP then wait for scan to complete.

   After scanning press EXIT, EXIT, EXIT

   Check on channel list to see EWTN

   EWTN can be received FTA with a satellite dish pointing to Intelsat 20 at 68.5°E, then inputing the following:
   Frequency: 4064 MHz
   Polarity: Horizontal
   Symbol Rate: 19850
   FEC Rate: 7/8
   Transpoder: 8

    Why oh why ? !

    How we all wish EWTN had a FTA English transponder for North America…. On Ku Band!

    Considering most protestant channels make sure they are free to view, it’s too bad EWTN allows the selling of their programming on various satellite Uplink providers. Ya, they are encrypted by the downlink “package” provider- but is there not ONE transponder EWTN can use/lease for the greater good of all the FTA STB users on Ku band- and for free ,Over the Air broadcasters whom carry ETWN

    Unfortunately EWTN doesn’t broadcast on Ku band in Africa. It is only available on C-band via Intelsat 10 at 68.5W, 4064 MHz, pol. H, SR: 19850.
    I’m sorry for the disappointment.

    Sorry for the late response. If your’e still having problems, just reply, stating which country you are in, and which equipment you used to watch EWTN, before it stopped.

    Unfortunately EWTN doesn’t broadcast on Ku band in Africa any more. If you are able to see Lumen Christi, this means that you are watching satellite via a Ku Band dish. EWTN is only available on C-band via Intelsat 10 at 68.5W, 4064 MHz, pol. H, SR: 19850.

    It is only available on C-band via Intelsat 10 at 68.5W, 4064 MHz, pol. H, SR: 19850. So you need to ensure your dish is C-band compatible. Maybe speak to a local installer.

    Hi Peter

    Sorry for the delay in response. You can receive EWTN using your Wiztech decoder, but you’ll need to change the LNB on the dish from a Ku-band to C-band LNB
