About

The aim of this blog is to highlight all of the good Catholic programming that can be assessed on television; terrestrially, by satellite, cable and on the internet. Free to Air (FTA) channels, covering Europe will be the main focus, but programming available in the Middle East, Africa, Australasia, and the Americas will be covered where ever possible.

Every Monday, a list of highlights of the week to come will be posted. The focus will be mainly coverage of live events.

For the first couple of weeks, reviews of Catholic Channels available on FTA satellite, primarily on HotBird 13.0E and Astra 19.2E, will be posted on a weekly basis. This will highlight some of the unique programming available on those channels.

Information on how to access these can be found on the Channels Information page. This provides a list of satellite frequencies where these channels can be accesed for free. As well as paid for satellite, cable and IPTV providers.

The Updates page, will contain all the information on changes to the availability of any these Catholic Channels.

If you don’t have satellite or cable, you can still access these channels via the internet. The Links page provide places where you can view the programming, via the broadcasters website.

If anyone needs help assessing the channels, just drop a comment and I will try to help. Feel free to email us at catholicsat [AT] gmail [DOT] com

    Pray For The Suffering.

    Everyone day we’ll stop
    And pray for the sick
    And suffering today
    And we’ll light a candle
    And pray for them every
Night that the Lord Jesus Christ
    Heals them tonight Amen.
